I’m picky because what?  I have dealt with the consequences from settling for less than I deserved and that’s something I’ve learned from. I wouldn’t call myself picky though, I just have a selectiveness when it comes to the people I decide to invest my time with in general. I’d rather surround myself with quality people and build good relationships (romantic or not). As for my type, hm looking back at my like-history I guess I’m into a guys that are ambitious, caring, athletes, articulate, have a good heart, creative, intelligent, extroverted, hilarious, down-to-earth, a “momma’s boy” LOL.

You lose your job. Or someone you love. Or your home. Or maybe even your health.

It isn’t fair. You don’t deserve it. You didn’t see it coming. You didn’t plan for it. You have so many feelings and frustrations you don’t know what to do first–or if you want to do anything at all.

It would be easier to sit around feeling bad. Looking for people to blame and complain to. Rehashing what you could have done to make things happen differently. Or what you would have done if you only realized before. Or what other people should have done to help you.
